About the site
This fanlisting was adopted from Pia and opened on September 4, 2005 here. (Well, technically. It was one in the morning.)Valinor is my favourite place in all of Arda, mainly because it is 1) the home of my favourite characters (Elves), 2) my chief escape destination from reality, and 3) my ideal world. I wish I could live there and be in peace forever. Basically, the romanticism of it appeals to me. I think of it as a place of fantasy and escapism, with what I am attracted to most - peace, nature and all things "fair". I just feel sad that our current society will never achieve such a state of "utopia".
